Retina Consultants of Texax (RCTX) is seeking an individual who will, under the direction of the Senior Director of Marketing and Operations. This role will assist in strengthening referrals, build physician relationships, and develop sales goals for Retina Consultants of Texas.

All Retina Consultants of Texas physicians are board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specialize exclusively in diseases and surgery of the retina, vitreous and macula. In addition, RCTX has both uveitis and ocular oncology specialty divisions, which focus on inflammation and cancer treatments of the eye. Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and organizes a schedule to call on existing and potential referral sources
- Develops and maintains relationships to drive current and future referral business
- Partners with the marketing team to drive referrals to specific regions
- Submits status reports weekly to leadership
- Analyzes data to determine opportunities for potential growth
- Works internally with marketing team to develop growth efforts
- Drives sign-ups for our continuing education events
- Promotes RCTX technologies that improve communication with referral sources
- Assists in promotion of research opportunities
- Maintains awareness of competitive activity within the market and updates team as needed
Skills/Competencies:
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and basic anatomy
- Knowledge of the retina/ophthalmology market
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
Education Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum three years outside healthcare service sales experience
- Proven sales and marketing track record
Licensures/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
Physical Abilities:
- Ability to drive to multiple locations on a daily/weekly basis
- Ability to walk through facilities to meet physician and staff
- Ability to lift and carry marketing material and company laptop
