All Retina Consultants of Texas physicians are board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specialize exclusively in diseases and surgery of the retina, vitreous and macula. In addition, RCTX has both uveitis and ocular oncology specialty divisions, which focus on inflammation and cancer treatments of the eye. Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Operations, the project coordinator will assist in the management of the Retina Consultants of Texas, RCTX, referral network and the development of marketing strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Executes the ADD NEW MD Referral Process in the necessary company platforms and applications
- Accurately Inputs new referral information from Patient Services and Clinic teams into Nextgen, MDI and MD Directory on a daily basis for all regions
- Updates the continuing Education (CE) list and Image Portal list with updates from ADD NEW MD requests
- Partners with the Physician Liaisons to add notes and keep referral sources contact information up to date in all systems
- Completes assignments from RCTX Web Lead Portal and Update Referral Database
- Accurately add leads from RCTX Web Lead Portal to referral databases
- Updates and maintains the Referral Database making sure that all referral data is up to date
- Executes updates from continuing education (CE) events and Physician Liaisons
- Routinely cross checks Nextgen, MDI and Directory for duplicates and/or errors
- Runs image portal audits weekly and posts findings in Teams for clinical team to update
- Sends pending letters through the image portal from previous audits
- Sends invitations to referring providers to join the Image Portal
- Sets up “staffers” on the Image Portal
- Reviews the patient survey data daily and alert Director of Marketing of any negative feedback
- Runs weekly reports and uploads patient emails into the RCTX review platform
- Learns new patient satisfaction systems as needed
- Cross trained to assist when needed in other areas of the department
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
- Bachelor Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Journalism preferred
- Years of experience in lieu of degree may be considered
Experience Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience Retina, Ophthalmology, or a data entry position
- Experience with Adobe software, Microsoft products, Google products
Physical Abilities:
- Position is routinely sedentary.
- Able to accurately and repeatedly work with a keyboard
- Able to work on multiple computer screens at one time
